About
Hymonic
AmMonia cracking
Hymonic aims to significantly reduce hydrogen costs for industry, transport, shipping, and off-grid applications through modular ammonia-to-hydrogen systems.

These units produce high-purity, low-cost hydrogen on-site using a proprietary reactor and nickel catalyst that efficiently cracks ammonia at lower temperatures and costs than traditional methods.

Compact and over 90% thermally efficient, the system is designed for mass production. It eliminates the need for hydrogen transport, cuts hydrogen costs by ~50%, and reduces electricity use by over 99% compared to electrolysis.

Compatible with all colors of ammonia (blue, green, etc.), Hymonic offers a practical, scalable decarbonization solution for hard-to-abate sectors. The technology has been validated with Fraunhofer IMM, with a first pilot plant successfully demonstrated at 75 kgH2 per day output.
